Introduction

Fighting Force was established as in early 2012 following a Panorama documentary aired in the previous year. It was striking that there is surprisingly little coordination in providing a holistic rehabilitation service to those who have served in the military and a limited support network to their families.

Fighting Force operates a referral system between ex-servicemen and their families (service users) and the overwhelming number of support groups, charities, third sector organisations and governmental agencies which exist to assist these individuals (service providers).

Mission Statement

Fighting Force will provide a single point of contact for rehabilitation into civilian life for all ex-serviceman and their families living in the United Kingdom who have served in the arena of war, regardless of their length of service, the location of service and their individual problems. This commitment will extend across the Army, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force.
